Love to Hate You Korean Drama does just not tell you about the love-hate relationship between the two couples but it also shows how people see women at the workplace, as weak sex, and how a woman defends herself by being strong. A woman who fights her battle-dated n number of guys but never falls for anyone. A man who developed a disorder (faces difficulty in breathing when in physical contact with any woman) after his first love ditch him and leave him alone. Together they fall in love.

Main Characters:

Kim Ok-vin as Yeo Mi-ran

She is skilled in material art and a lawyer by profession. She is bold, straightforward, and loves to date so that she can find the right person for herself.

Teo Yoo as Nam Kang-ho

He is a famous actor and heartthrob of many fans. Famous for his kissing scenes but he was suffering from a trauma he faces difficulty in breathing when he comes in physical contact with any woman.

Kim Ji-hoon as Do Won-jun

He is my best friend and manager of Nam Kang-ho. He has given up his dream of becoming an actor.

Go Won-hee as Shin Na-eun

She is the best friend of Yeo Mi-ran and an air hostess by profession.

Highlights of Love to Hate You Korean Drama

Bossy lady:

She is the boss lady and has dated lots of guys but always has the upper hand on them. Plus she is very good at fighting and always stood up against wrong. She left her job and join Gilmu, an entertainment law firm as the first female lawyer.

Brotherhood:

Do Won-jun and Nam Kang-ho are best friends and Do Won-jun supports him in his all ups and downs. They were so close that there is a rumor that they both are dating. Do Won-jun also helped him for practicing scenes.

Misunderstanding :

Yeo Mi-ran misunderstands Nam Kang-ho she thought he is a pervert who is dating a teenager and wanted to reveal his true face but later she finds out that she is his niece.

Different One:

Nam Kang-ho cannot come closer to any woman after his breakup. His girlfriend leaves him for her success in acting and she is the reason behind his illness. But when he met Yeo Mi-ran he felt different from her and while hugging her he didn’t get a panic attack and was later able to cope with his illness. He suggested she go into a fake relationship so that rumors about him dating his manager will stop spreading but this fake relationship turns into reality with time.

Friendships:

Yeo Mi-ran is also a good friend she always protects her friends and her friends also care about her a lot. When everyone is against her because she is dating Nam Kang-ho her friends were stood by her.

Will You Be Mine:

Everyone knows that Nam Kang-ho is dating her and is happy to see him with her. But few people spread the news that she has dated many guys before and Nam Kang-ho should not date her. So they decided to break up but later people come in front and take her side even her ex-boyfriend come in front to testify from her side. People who are hating her have started taking her side.

Overall Thoughts on Love to Hate You Korean Drama

Above everything thing romance, comedy, hate, and love this drama is about the individuality of women. People ignore women thinking they would be the weaker sex. But in this drama Yeo Mi-ran shows that we are not weak, we can be strong enough to teach lessons. She told a story of her childhood when an old man blocks the roads and touches girls who are coming back from school she share the same thing with her father and he told her to change the route. But she decided to teach that man a lesson so she trained hard and beat that man badly. She was a kid and no one believed him. That was the first time she experienced the feeling of victory and she wanted to experience it for the rest of her life.
