Bad and Crazy Korean drama stories revolve around corruption and drugs. Ryu Soo Yeol (Lee Dong Wook) is a corrupt police officer at Mooui Police Department. He can do anything for money and to stay in the good books of his seniors. Due to Sool Yeol this nature he was promoted in a very short period of time. One day he meets K (Wi Ha Joon) who can’t tolerate injustices. He dreams of being a hero.
Main Characters:
Lee Dong Wook and Ryu Soo Yeol
Ryu Soo Yeol is a corrupt officer who can do anything for the promotion. However, his life completely changes when K appears in front of him. Now he started fighting for justice.
Wi Ha Joon as K
K is a righteous man who can not tolerate injustice. He calls himself a hero and very good at fighting.
Han Ji Eun as Lee Hee Kyum
Lee Hee Kyum (Han Ji Eun) is a detective of the drug crime. She always fights for justice and once dated Soo Yeol. She comes from a wealthy background but joined the police force.
Cha Hak Yeon as Oh Kyung Tae
Oh Kyung Tae is the youngest police officer who is very warm-hearted and involved in a murder case. Kyung Tae is very kind and gentle to everyone and can’t see anyone in trouble.
Highlights of Bad and Crazy Korean Drama
Police corruption:
Ryu Soo Yeol is a corrupt police officer who always wants to make a good impression on his seniors for the promotion. When he arrives at the police station he met his ex-girlfriend who is also a police officer in the drug department. She is also aware of Soo Yeol’s nature so she is upset with him that he is interrogating her team leader for no reason. Soo Yeol is investigating the death of Kim Kye Shik’s (Lee Hwa Ryong) partner Tak Min Soo (Lee Joo Hyun). Kye Shik told Soo Yeol that Min Soo had to meet someone so he asked him to wait outside but when he reach there someone knocked him down from the building. After listening to Kye Shik’s story Soo Yeol starts provoking him and proving that he is the murderer who killed his own partner.
Mysterious Helmet Guy:
After all these troubles Soo Yeol was relaxing at the sauna but he got distracted when a mysterious guy dressed up in a leather jacket with a biker helmet entered in front of him. He suddenly drags Soo Yeol from his seat and throws him on the floor. He starts hitting Sool Yeol, grabs his hair, and finally throws him in the swimming pool. When he finally came back to his sense he tell all the situation to the front desk officer but they have denied all the complaints because there was nothing on the CCTV camera.
Missing or Murdered:
Oh Kyung Tae is a young police officer, he sees a little girl putting a poster of her missing mother her name is Jung Yoo Na. He decides to take the girl to the police station and file a missing report but there he found out that someone has already placed a report. Do In Bum (Lee Sang Hong) is in charge of Yoo Na’s case he informs Kyung Tae that she was in jail in the drug case and recently got out so she might be running away from home. Meanwhile, Kyung Tae promises the little girl that he will find his mother.
Investigation:
Kyung Tae wants to find Yoo Na for her daughter and he was not convinced that she will abandon her daughter so he decides to ask around. And through the call record of Yoo Na’s he is in her apartment but no one was incorporating him. Fortunately, he meets Yoo Na’s neighbor and he decides to break her door but secretly security guard calls someone to report. When Kyung Tae enters the bathroom he smells bleach so he opens up the drain and found out blood-soaked hair. Suddenly In Bum showed up and without thinking twice he started beating him for no reason. After that Kyung Tae was convinced that someone has killed her and now they are hiding something.
Past Trauma:
Soo Yeol realizes that K is none other than himself, he was the one who was investigating the murder case and fighting with the gangsters. That was very shocking for him so he decides to go for therapy and does want K to ruin his life. Geun Soo asked him if he has a history of trauma but Soo Yeol doesn’t want to answer him. In the later episode, we find out that Soo Yeol’s father used to beat him every night in his childhood. K is actually Soo Yeol’s hero who came to protect him from others.
Overall Thoughts on Bad and Crazy Korean Drama
After the bromance with Kim Bum in Tale of The Nine-Tailed Korean drama here, Lee Dong Wook comes with his new bromance partner. Bad and Crazy Korean drama is thriller-fantasy with a lot of comedy. Believe me, you will not be bored in this drama. This time Lee Dong Wook is back with a different role other than the perfect romantic guy. The chemistry between the Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon is amazing. Other than that I find Kim Kye Shik’s character a little suspicious, he is the team leader of the Narcotics crime investigation team.
