Racket Boys is a story of the badminton team of high school boys and girls in Haenam. The member of the boy’s team is Yoon Hae Kang (Tang Joon Sang), Bang Yoon Dam (Son Sang Yeon), Na Woo Chan (Choi Hyun Wook) and Lee Yong Tae (Kim Kang Hoon). Yoon Hyeon Jong (Kim Sang Kyung) is the father of Hae Kang and he is a former badminton player now he is a coach of a boy’s badminton team at a middle school in Haenam. Meanwhile, Ra Yeong Ja (Oh Na Ra) is the coach of the girl’s badminton team in Haenam. Her team always ranks first. Han Se Yoon (Lee Jee In) is always ranked top position among girls players.

Tang Jun Sang as Yoon Hae Kang
Yoon Hae Kang is an ex badminton player and now he loves playing baseball. But he again starts playing badminton after moving to the countryside.
Kim Sang Kyung as Yoon Hyun Jong
Hyun Jong is the father of Hae Kang and Yoon Hae In. He is a badminton coach and once a member of the national team. They moves to the countryside because of money.
Oh Na Ra as Ra Young Ja
Young Ja is a high school badminton coach, also known as “Ranos” because of her attitude and personality. She is a gold medalist at the Asian Games badminton women’s singles. Young Ja is the mother of Yoon Hae Kang and Yoon Hae In.
Son Sang Yeon as Bang Yoon Dam
Yoon Dam is a third-year student. He is the captain of the badminton club and an ace player who is addicted to social media.
Choi Hyun Wook as Na Woo Chan
Woo Chan is a third-year student. He is addicted to Hip-Hop and handshakes. He is the best friend of Yong Tae. Woo Chan’s father is against him for playing badminton.
Kim Kang Hoon as Lee Yong Tae
Yong Tae is a second-year student. He is the youngest member of the badminton club and a fan of Lee Yong Dae.
Lee Jae In as Han Se Yoon
Se Yoon is a badminton player and her dream is to become the youngest member of the national team. She is very determined and passionate about badminton.
Lee Ji Won as Lee Han Sol
Han Sol is a badminton player and she loves talking with her friends.

Hyun Jong’s Challenges:
Hyun Jong is a badminton coach and he moves to the countryside with his family. The first struggle he faces on his first day is to make his team enter the competition because there were only three players in his team and to qualify they need four players. Another challenge he faces is that suddenly school closes down the dormitory and he doesn’t have any choice so he took them to his own house. His son is an ex badminton player and now he loves playing baseball. Hyun Jong and the boys try to convince Hae Kang to play badminton but he is not interested and completely ignores them. Later he bet with his father that if he wins the game then he has to install the wifi and after that, he will not going to play badminton anymore.
Racket Boys:
In the starting, Hae Kang was playing badminton because his father promises him that he will install Wi-Fi. In his childhood, Hae Kang is a badminton genius who won a grand slam in elementary school but suddenly he disappeared. Their first competition is a sweet potato and Hae Kang is overconfident that he will definitely win the match but he loses the match. Hae Kang was very disappointed and after that, he was waiting for the next match so that can win the match from yellow hair boy. Meanwhile, his team was very happy with that because they won’t have to find a new member until the spring competition.
Difficulties and Challenges:
There are a lot of challenges and difficulties sports players face they have followed a proper diet and protect themselves from any injuries. They are a group of four boys and they want one more player in their group. Finally, they select Jung In Sol as a fifth group member. Once the boys start spending time together they start liking each other company and enjoy every moment. Hae Kang played badminton just for wifi but slowly he starts liking the game and enjoying the game and wants to win every match for the boys. Meanwhile, he wants to become a National Badminton player.
