My Demon Korean is about a demon who made contracts with humans to survive and a woman who is very talented and an entrepreneur. They both are connected from the past and entangled with each other in the present.
Main Characters
Kim Yoo-jung as Do Do-hee
She is the CEO of Mirae F&B. Her parents passed away when she was 10 years old and after that Joo Cheon-sook adopted her.
Song Kang as Jeong Gu-won
He is a 200-year-old demon who used to be a human. He made contracts with people who were desperate to get something in return they had to go to hell after 10 years.
Lee Sang-yi as Joo Seok-hoon
He is the nephew of Cheon-sook and CEO of Mirae Investment. He has a crush on Do Do-hee.
Kim Hae-sook as Joo Cheon-sook
She is the chairwoman of Mirae Group who founded this organisation with the help of Do Do-hee’s parents.
Highlights of My Demon Korean Drama
Accidental Date:
Joo Cheon-sook wants Do Do-hee to get merry so she planned a blind date for her and blackmailed her emotionally to go on that date. Do Do-hee accidentally met Jeong Gu-won and thought he was her blind date but she was wrong. They argued and she left. Later she was attacked by someone and he saved her.
Powerless Demon:
While saving her his tattoo gets transferred into Do Do-hee’s hand. Due to this, he lost his power now he needs her hand to use those powers or the second option is to get his tattoo back.
Joining Hands:
Do Do-hee is smart enough to identify that the demon needs her to survive so she joins hands with a demon and makes him her bodyguard. Later when Joo Cheon-sook died she asked him to marry her as per Joo Cheon-sook will but he rejected her offer. Eventually, he jumped into a contractual marriage with her.
Saviour:
Demon is always there for Do Do-hee to save her even if he doesn’t have his powers. Gradually they both fall for each other and together they decide to find the culprit. But later she gave up on catching the culprit and the inheritance she received from Joo Cheon-sook. Even after giving up on everything life threats didn’t reduce and in one incident when Jeong Gu-won tried to save her, he got his power back.
Fate:
Jeong Gu-won started remembering her past life and Do Do-hee was his lover whom he lost so he decided to be a demon. Gradually he also came to know that he has brought misery in her past life and the past is going to repeat and he will make her life more miserable. Then he came to know that her father died because he had made a contract with him. Demon decided to leave her alone.
Comeback:
Even though he is not with her he is looking for her. When she got kidnapped and about to die he saved her and burned in fire. Later God feels bad for him and brings him back. Now they both are living happily even though they fight a lot.
Overall Thoughts on My Demon Korean Drama
I love this drama although one thing still confuses me demons never age but Do Do-hee will then how will they overcome this situation?
You will love the chemistry between the demon’s assistant and Do Do-hee’s assistant.
