Highlights of Destined with You Korean Drama
Transferred:
Lee Hong-jo was transferred to City Hall and joined the team of a senior who wanted to take revenge on her. He started torturing her by giving them more work, keeping her away from meetings, insulting her, and making her eat alone. Later Jang Shin-yu also joined the City Hall as a legal advisor to the government.
First Encounter:
Lee Hong-jo took the task of demolishing a haunted prayer place which is owned by Jang Shin-yu. She met him and he died to her request and put a condition that if she will be able to convince the temple priest to demolish it he will agree as well. She was able to convince him because she was the chosen one of the boxes that had closed for 300 years now.
Spell Book:
Lee Hong-jo tried very hard to open the box but failed whereas Jang Shin-yu was very excited to know what was inside. There was a spell book in the wooden box and that box was opened on its own. There are many spells in the book like how to make someone fall in love with you, how to remain beautiful, how to cure illness, and many more.
Condition:
Spell can be used only once. Only the choosen one can perform the rituals.
Spell Used :
The spell that caught Lee Hong-jo attention was how to make someone fall in love with you because she wanted to make Kwon Jae-kyung fall for her and Jang Shin-yu wanted to use how to cure illness spells. The water Lee Hong-jo created by using a spell was mistakenly drunk by Jang Shin-yu.
Falling for Her:
Jang Shin-yu seems strange he is doing things he didn’t want to. He recently broke up with her girlfriend because of his illness and instead of feeling sad, he is feeling butterflies for Lee Hong-jo. He is following her everywhere and flirting unknowingly.
The Curse:
A curse was given to Jang Shin-yu in his past life by Lee Hong-jo. The curse passed because he killed her in past life Jang Shin-yu knows the truth and still wants to be with her. But when she finds out about her previous life she gets scared that he can die because of her so she starts maintaining distance from him.
Life in Danger:
Her life was in danger since the day she started involving with Jang Shin-yu. He saved her from danger and she saved him from the curse.
Overall Thoughts on Destined with You Korean Drama
Many of you do not agree on this with me but I didn’t like the drama. Wierd plots and repetitive things are going on. The writer could easily sum up this drama in 8 episodes. Rowoon looks so gorgeous and that’s the only motivation that keeps me watching this drama.
