Doctor Cha Korean Drama is about a lady Cha Jung Sook who is married to a chief surgeon having two kids one is an intern in a hospital and another one is in school. She is been a full-time housewife for the past 20 years she is a medical student and has up on her resident years because of some incident. After being a good housewife to her husband, a good daughter-in-law to her mother-in-law, and a good mother to her kids she didn’t get the respect she deserved. After being sick for days, almost dead she came to her senses and wanted to live her life doing what she loved

She is a full-time housewife who gave up on her dreams but after 20 years she wants to continue her medical practices.

He is a chief surgeon at the university hospital and the husband of Cha Jung-sook. After marriage and having two kids he cannot forget his first love and still dating her.

she is a doctor and the first love of Seo In-ho. They both were together in college.

Highlights of Doctor Cha Korean Drama
Hospitalized:
She is working hard to please everyone in the house and suddenly she falls ill and got hospitalized. When the doctor asked for her guardian no one is by her side kids are busy studying, the husband is on a business trip with her girlfriend, and her mother-in-law was busy partying. She called her mother and later she finds out that she need a liver transplant her husband was convinced after some hard work but her mother-in-law and his girlfriend stopped him to donate. She almost died but a patient died in the hospital so she get that liver.
Change in Personality:
After coming back from the hospital she is doing her duties as a housewife but no one recognizes it so she decided to not do them anymore. She went on shopping for herself because so far she is wearing her mother-in-law’s retired clothes. After spending his husband’s money on shopping she feels good and decides to study and live her dream again. Her husband mock her that she won’t be able to do that but she scored 49 out of 50 in her resident exam.
Hired:
She got hired in one of the biggest hospitals in which her husband and son are working later Roy Kim joined the same hospital. After all this Cha Jung-sook’s husband doesn’t wants her to disclose her relationship with them. He tried all ways to make her quit. Cha Jung-sook’s husband’s first love also works at the same hospital. Initially, it was tough for her but later she bring donations to the hospital for her devotion to patients.
Truth:
No matter how hard to try to hide the truth by making lies you will get caught one day. Cha Jung-sook’s kids find out that their father is having an affair and also has a kid later her mother-in-law also funds out. When she finds out all this she ignored him for a while and later asks for a divorce. She wanted to live her own life.
Happy Life:
In the end, everyone is leaving a happy life Choi Seung-hee has quitted the hospital and running the hospital set up by her late father. Cha Jung-sook got sick again and her husband gave her his liver then they get separated. After that, she opened her hospital where she also serves healthy salad. She met with her ex-husband and kids often.
Overall Thoughts on Doctor Cha Korean Dram
This one is not completely a medical drama with no typical names. This is more of a family drama where a woman fights for her dreams.
