Our Beloved Summer Korean drama is the story of Choi Woong (Choi Woo Shik) is a poor student in studies in his high school, at the same time Gook Yeon Soo (Kim Da Mi ) was an outstanding student. A Youtube channel filmed a documentary based on their personalities. They started falling for each other and as life goes they broke up and never wanted to meet again. After 10 years, the high school documentary went viral and they were bound to meet again.

Choi Woo Shik as Choi Woong:
Choi Woong is a person who lives life with all of his heart and craves peace. At a young age, he was a mischievous poor student in his studies. Later, in his life, he turned out to be World’s best building illustrator, who is famous by the nickname ” Go Ah”
Kim Da Mi as Gook Yeon Soo:
Yeon Soo was an excellent student in her school days, she dreamt of being an independent entrepreneur. After 10 years she is a PR expert. She lives her life independently and works so hard, and doesn’t care about feelings.
Kim Sung Chul as Kim Ji Woong:
Ji Woong is Choi Woong’s best friend since childhood, who is a PD in charge of producing and filming documentaries on a popular channel. He has been with Choi Woong in all situations.
Roh Jeung Eui as NJ:
She is a famous K-Pop idol who unexpectedly develops friendships with Choi Woong.

Different Personalities:
The drama dates back to May 11, when Choi Woong and Yeon Seo were 19 years old high school students. A channel planned to film a documentary with the best and worst students of the school for 1 month. Despite their different personalities and routines, Choi Woong and Yeon Seo were made to get along for the documentary. The documentary was a huge hit, then in the present after 10 years, the documentary started getting viral. Choi Woong is now a famous building illustrator known by the name Ko o. Yeon Seo is a team manager and she was given the task of bringing the famous illustrator Ko o for an event.
Past Love:
Kim Ji Woong who is Choi Woong’s best friend is a PD in a company that filmed a documentary on Choi Woong and Yeon Seo 10 years back. Jin Woong manager has assigned him to shoot another documentary with the two as the last video is so popular. NJ is a famous idol who is so fond of Choi Woong’s art and tries to get close to him. Yeon Seo has no idea that Ko o was Choi Woong and tries hard to meet the artist and she got an appointment. Choi Woong immediately after seeing her, douses a spray bottle on her face. We get to know that they were in a relationship for 5 years in the past and they broke up. Jang and Yeon Seo had a couple of blind dates together but they ended up talking only about work in the end.
Blooming Romance:
Choi Woong and Yeon Seo has made up their mind and agreed to the documentary shoot again. We get to see the innocence and childishness in their previous videos which are lacking in their present lives. Yeon Seo asked Choi Woong to draw for her companies commission. They both get along well and started cooperating for the documentary film. cameras were set on the Choi Woong’s home and Yeon Seo’s workplace, but chemistry lagged between them and viewers were totally disappointed. In mids of this, a glimpse of their past love is like a fresh breeze. Ji Ung who is the best friend of Choi Woong has also had feelings for Yeon Deo but stepped back because of Choi Woong.
Documentary:
The documentary has been continued to film in their respective workspaces, both of them got along with each other and apologized for their past mistakes. Then we get to see the real Yeon Seo, she was very poor back then, which led to her cold behavior towards others and she can’t get close with anyone. But Choi Woong broke this barrier and love blossomed in the past. The reason for their break up was their different lifestyle and personality. At present, as filming goes on jealousy started growing on each other. NJ and Choi Woong got to be close and Ji Woong’s past feelings for Yeon Seon have reappeared. Choi Woong and Yeon Seo like each other company and they still have their love hidden deep inside.
True Feelings:
Choi Ung treats NJ as a friend, but she has developed deep feelings for him. Their picture started spreading on the internet and all are thinking they are in love. Choi Ung was so confused after this. Finally, Choi Ung and Yeon Su got some guts to talk their heart out, they confessed their love for each other. They both were quite awkward and started dating together. Choi Ung starts being an expressive person even to his parents. They both planned for a weekend outing and ended up kissing patiently.
Understanding Each Other:
Both Choi Ung and Yeon Su started reflecting on their past relationship and the reason for their break up. Yeon Su due to her financial crisis during school preferred being alone and staying alone without any friends. This insecurity leads to the breakup with Choi Ung. The first episode of the documentary series has been released finally and it was a hit. NJ and Ji Ung had lunch together and NJ expressed her feeling and opinions on Choi Ung. Ji Ung is so lonely from his childhood, he yearns for affection and love. His mother was quite unexpressive and he will jealous of Choi Ung being close to his parents. Now, Ji Ung’s mother has been diagnosed with a deadly disease and he was depressed after this.
Destined to Stay Together:
Now, both of them had different dreams to follow, Choi Ung dreams to study abroad and Yeon Su wants to concentrate on her present work and stay happy. Choi Ung promised Yeon Su that he will return soon after his studies and Yeon Su accepted it. Both were in love and followed their goals. Chae Ran and Ji Ung finally ended up together. After the time span of 3 years, Choi Ung returned back from abroad and the cute couple is finally married with the promise to stay happy and together forever.

Totally loved this drama, this is one of the dramas which gives you a butterfly feeling. This is one cute light-hearted romantic drama. This couple has great chemistry and they are too good together.
