Lovers of The Red Sky Korean Drama set in the Dan Dynasty era, where god, demon, and Ghost were involved in human life. Hong Chun Ki is a great artist, she was born blind due to the curse of a demon king, later she gained a sense of vision and entered the most prestigious art college. Then she meets Ha Ram, an astrologer, he was born with sight, later lost his vision in an accident. Despite being blind, he can foretell the future by tracing the movement of the sky at night. Hong Chun Ki falls for Ha Ram and has many obstacles in joining together.

Kim Yoo Jung as Hong Chung Ji

Cursed Painting:
Ma Wang helped king Yeongjong to conquer the world. With the increasing demonic activity of Ma Wang, they try to lock down Ma Wang in a painting. Yeonjgjong is tied in a chair and his painting were hanged out opposite to him. A blue light struck down which turned into a black smoke which is Ma Wang himself. Samshin the goddess appears and locks the demon in the painting. But the demon cursed them with drought and bad fortune.
Two Powerful child:
At the same time, a woman gave birth to a son in a Goddess Samshim’s temple. A pack of wolves surrounded her as soon she gave birth to a baby girl. She died due to extreme blood loss, goddess Samshim saved the child and took it with her. Later, in the palace, while locking the demon in the picture, this baby girl (Cheon Ki) turned blind. Samshim promised to provide her with a partner Ha Rim.
Dan Dynasty:
After 9 years, the kingdom faces extreme drought and misfortune. Cheon Ki was bullied by other children due to her blindness. Hs Rim and Cheon Ki are friends and hang out together. Cheon Ki asks him to close his eyes and develop his other senses. These kids were so cute together and helps each other. The next day was Rain Ritual, where the Crown Prince stupidly burns the photo where Ma Young was locked up. The spirit came out and the two kids were thrown into the water. Samshin saved both of them but in this tragedy, Cheon Ki got her vision for the first time and HA Rim Lost his vision.
After 19 years:
Cut forward to 19 years during the 28th year of King Sungjo’s reign. Cheon Ki has her vision and creates amazing paintings. She imitates other painters and sells them. Ha Ram even though he is blind, has dashing looks and kindest. Everyone calls him Water Monster. Then the demon possesses Ha Ram to get back his vision from Cheon Ki. Then Mountian guardian Ho Ryeong appears and saves Cheon ki from Ma Young and Ha Ram is back on his body.
