Top Korean Drama Characters That Deserved Better

We love watching Korean dramas because of the storyline but at the same, we are attached to some characters that we just want a happy ending for them no matter what. We have to admit that Korean dramas do a great job at character building that viewers attached with some character so much whether he/she is a villain or a hero it doesn’t matter. It’s so sad when our favorite character dies in the middle of the drama for no reason and they deserved the better ending. In this blog, I’ll share the top Korean drama characters that deserved better.

Jang Han Seo (Vincenzo)

Top Korean Drama Characters That Deserved Better

Vincenzo Korean drama revolves around the Italian mafia who was adopted by an Italian family at the age of 8. He is a lawyer and works for the Mafia. But after his adopted father’s death, he went back to South Korea. At the starting of the drama, Jang Han Seo’s (Kwak Dong Yeon) character was portrayed as a rude and insensible chairman but later we found out that he was just a puppet of his stepbrother. All the wrongdoing was done by his stepbrother. His character wants to love and self-validation which he gets from Vincenzo. Jang Han Seo is one of the top Korean drama characters that deserved better.

Kim Soo Hyuk | Cha Hyung Bin (Born Again)

Top Korean Drama Characters That Deserved Better

Born Again Korean drama is all about life, death, and second chances. In his earlier life, Cha Hyung Bin (Lee Soo Hyuk) was a detective who loves his girl, Jung Ha Eun. In his present life, Kim Soo Hyuk is a prosecutor and now he is engaged with Baek Sang A. He is rude but he is very kind toward his lover Sa Bin. His character was portrayed as an idiot in his both life. Hyung Bin waited for 4 years to marry Ha Eun but then Gong Ji Cheol kill him. The story only revolves around Gong Ji Cheol’s death and gives justice to him, but the writer doesn’t want to justify the death of Hyung Bin and give justice to him. Ha Eun / Sa Bin’s character was so dumb and irritating at the same time where she forgets her own promise and doesn’t want to remember that.

Seo Dan & Gu Seung Jun (Crash Landing On You)

Top Korean Drama Characters That Deserved Better

The story revolves around the North Korean army captain Ri Jeong Hyeok (Hyun Bin) and a South Korean businesswoman Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye Jin). Gu Seung Jung (Kim Jung Hyun) is a con artist and he goes to North Korea where he meets Seo Dan (Seo Ji Hye) who is the fiancé of captain Ri. She like captain Ri but in return, he was not even aware of Seo Dan’s feelings for her. They meet several times and start developing mutual feelings for each other. When they both realized that they fall in love with each other then suddenly the director killed Gu Seung Jung. Instead of a happy ending, Seung Jun sacrifices his life to save Seo Dan’s life and she ends up alone.

Lee Rang (Tale of The Nine Tailed)

Top Korean Drama Characters That Deserved Better

The Tale of the Nine-Tailed Korean drama is the love story of a nine-tailed fox and a human. Lee Rang (Kim Bum) is a half-blood gumiho and Lee Yeon’s (Lee Dong Wook) younger half-brother. Because of one misunderstanding, he starts hating his brother and he developed a deep grudge against his brother for choosing Ah Eum (Jo Bo Ah) over him. He wants to take revenge on him and always bother his Hyung. But later they clear their misunderstanding, Rang thought that like his mother, his brother also abandoned him. Although Yeon always told him that he never abandon him. When he finally finds happiness and his brother director kills his character. And that was the saddest part of the whole drama. Lee Ran is one of the top Korean drama characters that deserved better.

Kim Byung In (Mr. Queen)

Top Korean Drama Characters That Deserved Better

Byung In (Na In Woo) is the cousin sister of So Yong and he loves Kim So Yong (Shin Hye Sun). When he finds out that King is trying to kill the woman he loves, he wants the power to protect Queen So Yong. For showing the true color of King’s he joined the hands with Grand Queen Dowager. Meanwhile, So Yong recovers when Byung In kissed her and she finds out that he loves her as a woman. She warned Byung In that she doesn’t love him and she has no feelings for him. On the other hand, Byung In still wants to be on Queen’s side. Although his character was a little bit annoying still I feel very sad when he was killed.
