Sun Ji is a troublemaker and even discovers Moo Young’s zombie secret. Later they team up to solve crimes and discover the mystery behind the existence of zombies. Cha Do Hyun (Kwon Hwa Woon) is a police officer at Gangrim Police Station and he has a huge crush on his long-time friend Sun Ji.
Oh Bong Yi (Park Joo Hyun) is a high school student and she lives with her grandmother. She is an expert in martial art and she is a tough and straightforward girl. Bong Yi’s grandmother always tells her to marry Jung Ba Reum because she believes if her granddaughter marries to police officer her life will be safer. Sung Yo Han (Hwa Woon) is the youngest genius doctor in brain tumor surgery. However, he always treats his patients coldly.
Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won
Descendants of the Sun (2016) Arthdal Chronicles (2019)
In Descendants of the Sun Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won are not couples but still, we can feel the chemistry between them. Shi Jin (Song Joong Ki) is the captain of the special forces in the military whereas Myeong Joo (Kim Ji Won) is an army doctor. Even though Myeong Joo’s father wants her to marry Shi Jin but their destiny was different.
After the success of Descendants of the Sun they both again cast in Arthdal Chronicles as a lover. It is a historical drama which revolves around a mythical land named Arth. Eun Sum (Song Joong Ki) born with a fate to bring disaster but he was saved by his mother whereas she was struggling a lot while saving Eun Sum. Tan Ya (Kim Ji Won) and Eun Sum have the same fate and she wants to become a politician.
Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si
Sweet Home (2020) and Youth of May (2021)
Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si have first appeared in the drama sweet home but they were siblings in that drama. It is a short horror thriller drama Where people are turning into a monster, and that is happening all around the world. Everyone is fighting against these monsters and trying to survive. Eun Hyuk (Lee Do Hyun) is a medical student. He is the brain and the leader of Green Home survivors. Lee Yoo (Go Min Si) is the younger sister of Lee Hyuk. She is a former ballerina and she is very straightforward. In this drama, I can see the chemistry between Go Min Si and Song Kang as a lead couple but the casting director has seen something as.
Youth of May is a retro drama where you will feel a 90s vibe, Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) is a very intelligent medical student and the topper of his class. Meanwhile, Myung Hee (Go Min Si) worked as a nurse for the past 3 years. She always stands up against what is not fair. There is surely chemistry between both of them.
Ok Taec Yeon and Jeon Yeo Bin
Save Me (2017) and Vincenzo (2021)
Jeon Yeo Bin is in the supporting role in Save Me Korean drama and there are not a lot of scenes of her and there is no interaction of these actors. Save Me is a mystery-thriller Korean drama. Hong So Rin (Jeon Yeo Bin) is a believer in Goosunwon’s Clinic and a secret reporter who is investigating Goosunwon activities. Han Sang Hwan (Ok Taec Yeon) is the son of a Politician, and he tries to save Sang Mi (Seo Ye Ji) with his friends from the cult.
Yeo Bin gains a lot of popularity in Vincenzo where she plays the role of a bold and fearless lawyer. She can do anything to win the case whereas her performance in the drama is beyond amazing. Jun Woo (Ok Taec Yeon) is an intern who works under lawyer Cha Young (Yeo Bin) in Woosang Law Firm. Taec Yeon surprise viewers with his villain look. Vincenzo is just an amazing k-drama I highly recommend you this drama.
Song Kang and Go Min Si
Love Alarm (2019 & 2021) & Sweet Home (2020)
In Love Alarm Park Gul Mi (Go Min Si) likes Hwang Sun Oh (Song Kang) but he like her cousin sister Jo Jo (Kim So Hyun). In this drama, Gul Mi’s character is full of jealousy, selfish, egotistic cousin but she definitely impresses the viewers with her acting. She is one of the popular girls in the school. Sun Oh is a high school student and handsome model. He is an only child of a famous actress and having lots of family problems. Check out Love Alarm Season 1 and Season 2.
Hyun Soo (Song Kang) is a high-school student, his family dies in a car accident and after that, he moves into Green Home. He wants to commit suicide because he was left all alone. Lee Yoo is a former ballerina.
Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won
Criminal Minds (2017) & Flower of Evil (2020)
Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won worked together in Criminal Mind where the drama revolves around the National Criminal Investigation team who track down criminals to solve mysterious cases. Hyun Joon (Lee Joon Gi) was a SWAT officer specializing in EOD but later he transferred to the Violent Crimes Unit because he was witnessed one of his subordinates die when the bomb exploded while defusing. He didn’t show any mercy toward the criminals. Sun Woo (Moon Chae Won) is a NCI agent and she always follow protocol and rules. She is a former police officer who was only hired to fulfill the female quota.
Casting directors must have seen the chemistry between them in Criminal Mind that’s why they are just shining in Flower of Evil Korean drama there chemistry is amazing. Baek Hee Sung (Lee Joon Gi) is an ideal husband and he works as a craftsman and successful with his metal-working. He hides his cruel past from his wife. Cha Ji Won (Moon Chae Won) is a detective and she adores her family more than anything. She is fooled by her husband.
Lee Sung Kyun and Nam Joo Hyuk
Cheese In The Trap (2016) & Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (2016-17)
They first worked together in “Cheese In The Trap”. In Ho’s (Lee Sung Kyun) is a melodramatic older sister of In Ho (Seo Kang Joon). Both siblings are adopted by Jung’s family. She has a feeling for Yoo Jung (Park Hae Jin) although he does not care for her. Kwon Eun Taek (Nam Joo Hyuk) is a friend of Seol (Kim Go Eun) and a boyfriend of Bo Ra (Park Min Ji). Although there was hardly any interaction between Sung Kyun and Joo Hyuk in the drama.
After this, they came together to work on Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo where they were cast as the main lead couple. Bok Joo (Lee Sung Kyun) is a gifted weightlifter with an outgoing personality. She hides her insecurities around her crush. She has a huge crush on Jung Jae Yi (Lee Jae Yoon) who is an older cousin brother of Jung Joon Hyung (Nam Joo Hyuk). Meanwhile, Joon Hyung is a talented swimmer with a playful personality and suffers from trauma. Bok Joo and Joon Hyung are childhood friends who turned into lovers.
Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Chang Wan
My Love From Another Star (2013) and It’s Okay To Not Be Okay (2020)
Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) is an alien who landed on Earth and staying since Joseon Dynasty. Min Joon has a perfect human appearance and he never ages. His only disadvantage is he has to take new identity every ten years. Min Joon has worked in many field but now he works as a college professor in a university. Jang Young Mok (Kim Chang Wan) is Min-joon’s only friend and he is a lawyer. Young Mok is a father figure for Min Joon.
Moon Gang Tae (Kim Soo Hyun) is very kind, humble, and caring toward his patience and his brother. He is suffering the day-to-day problems in his life including taking care of his older brother and his patience whereas Ji Wang (Kim Chang Wan) is the director of OK Psychiatric Hospital. He cares about his patients and helping them patients in getting better.
