Train Korean drama is one of the best Korean dramas I have watched recently. It has just 12 episodes but entertains us and keeps us engaged throughout. The thrill, the cryptic details, and the attractive parallel world are a delight for crime thriller fans. Train Korean drama is super interesting, intense, carefully crafted, and builds momentum in every episode. “Everything is connected” in this drama and there will be two parallel universes with many surprises!!!

Main Characters:

Yoon Shi Yoon as Seo Do Won

Seo Do Won is a sincere police officer who is dedicated to his work. In-universe II, he is a corrupted and drug addiction senior police inspector.

Kyung Soo Jin as Han Seo Kyung

Han Seo Kyung is a straightforward and honest prosecutor who loves Do Won in universe I but in universe II she is a cold and emotionless detective.

Highlights of Train Korean Drama

Do Won and Seo Kyun:

Train Korean drama travels in two parallel universes. A hard-hitting detective who fearlessly dives into his work, Seo Do Won is relentless when it comes to bringing criminals to justice and Han Seo Kyun is a prosecutor. They both grew up together from high school as their father died at the same time. Han Seo’s father was murdered and her mother’s jewelers are missing. On investigating a case, Do Won accidentally finds four skeleton bodies on Mukyeong railway station which was abandoned since 2005.

Mystery Behind Mukyeong Station:

Mukyeong station undergoes several investigations and the forensic found a fingerprint in the bag in the train station. While investigating police find that the killer uses a mentally disturbed man to dispose of the dead body. Then another dead body was found in the train station. Meanwhile, the same person like the dead one comes to the detective office. Many mysterious scenes take place and the detectives consider that her twin was dead.

While investigating, Seo Kyun finds that the dead bodies found in the Mukyeong station were wearing the same jewelry which has been missing in her home 20 years back while her father was murdered. So, she rushes to the train station. She finds a mysterious train at night and a suitcase was thrown out from the train. She was killed by the murderer because she saw the murderer’s face.

Parallel Universe:

Seo Do Won turns depressed as the only person he loves has been murdered. While he was crying with a heart filled with Seo Kyun memories he suddenly saw a mysterious train, the train took him to another Universe where Mukyeong city is quite different. In that world Do Won is a corrupted and drug-addicted police officer. Instead of him, the police catch Seo Do Won from Universe I. He finds Seo Kyun in that world.

Mysteriously able to move between parallel universes, Do Won now lives in both worlds as a man who must pay for the sins of his father in one, and as a man forced to live a precarious life because of those sins in the other. Do Won duality of life wasn’t hard enough to deal with, he soon learns that his deceased love may be gone in the parallel world, but she’s very much alive in the other world. Vowing to track down her killer in one universe, while simultaneously trying to protect her in the other.

Murderer: *Spoiler Alert*

The murderer kills the people in Universe II and dumps the body in Universe I. He has been a monster because of his mother. A mother should punish his son for his bad deeds, instead, she kept on protecting him. He wanted her to show affection by stopping him from the evil activities, but she didn’t. The murderer is a doctor. Do you want to know who the cruel murderer and his mother are? Watch train to unfold the suspense.

Overall Thoughts on Train Korean Drama:

Train is a perfect entertaining drama. It has got everything from nerve chilling thrill to love-filled relationship and Mysterious crime. It has only 12 episodes, so we can complete it in one day. There are no side stories and dragging parts in this drama. The actors have done a brilliant job of distinguishing themselves in two different worlds.
