Queen of Tears Korean drama is a romantic comedy-drama that shows the story of two married couples who love each other but their love fades somewhere with time.
Main Characters:
Kim Soo-hyun as Baek Hyun-woo
He belong to Village and became legal director of Queens Group after marrying Hae-in. He is very intelligent and talented in his field.
Kim Ji-won as Hong Hae-in
She is CEO of Queens Department Store. Her only focus is on making money and rude in nature.
Park Sung-hoon as Yoon Eun-sung / David Yoon
He likes Hae-in and son of Hae-in’s grandfather’s mistress.
Highlights of Queen of Tears Korean Drama
Dipressed:
Baek Hyun-woo was depressed in his married life he was always scolded by his wife at work. They live in different rooms and do not talk to each other. He is scared of her. Meanwhile, Hong Hae-in is depressed because of work to become CEO of Queen group she has to make her department number one.
Divorce:
He made the divorce paper and before giving it to Hong Hae-in he talked with his family and they all are against it. Later he came to know that his wife was sick and only had 3 months to live. So he dropped the idea of divorce and decided to wait for three months. But when her wife got to know about the reality she divorced his husband.
Trying Hard:
Hong Hae-in is trying hard to find a doctor all over the world who can give a solution to her disease. After searching she got the solution but there were some terms and she failed to match them physically. Later his husband legally treated them so they agreed to treat her. He sends emails to different doctors so that his wife can be treated.
Taking Over:
Yoon Eun-sung and his mother took over Queen’s group by deceiving them. His mother even paralysed Hae-in’s grandfather by giving him medicine and later he attempted suicide to stop her. Hae-in’s family went moneyless and they moved to her ex-husband’s village so that they can be stay safe.
Blossoming Love:
There is blossoming Love between the two even after they get divorced. They both are helping each other and Baek Hyun-woo is doing everything to make her feel special and feel loved.
Disguise in Blessing:
There is always a blessing in disguise but this time for Hae-in and her family there is disguise in blessing. They came to know about her illness and a doctor is ready to do surgery. But the thing is if she gets the surgery she will lose her memories.
Cheater:
Yoon Eun-sung cheated everyone even her mother because of Hae-in. He knows that she will lose her memory after surgery so he puts false allegations of murder in Baek Hyun-woo and money laundering on her family so that they cannot reach out to her for a while. Meanwhile, he foster her memories at his convenience.
Overall Thoughts of Queen of Tears Korean Drama
I like the drama at the start but as the drama goes on I see a repetitive story. I feel like it’s not the story that make this drama popular but it is the cast.
