She runs a tarro reading cafe and can hear lies. Because of that ability, she distances herself from people because it’s very difficult for her to trust anyone.
Hwang Min-hyun as Kim Do-ha / Kim Seung-joo
A famous composer and producer. After an incident to hide his identity, he changed his name from Kim Seung-joo to Kim Do-ha.
Seo Ji-hoon as Lee Kang-min
He is a detective and ex-boyfriend of Mok Sol-hee. He left her because of his illness, and after recovery, when he returned, it was already too late.

Highlights of My Lovely Liar Korean Drama
Shifting:
Kim Do-ha always hides his identity, even though he is a famous composer. He always wears masks. One of the singers, Sha On for whom he writes songs, has a crush on him, and she knows about him. A rumor spread that they were dating each other because of Sha On. So he moved to another town and became a neighbor of Mok Sol-hee.
Stranger to Companion:
Kim Do-ha met Mok Sol-hee a few years ago when she saved his life. Now again, she saved him from neighbors because of her power. Whenever she is with him, he can’t hear his lies Initially, she thinks he is special but it turns out that he didn’t lie. Slowly, they become friends and then lovers.
Past Incident:
Kim Do-ha has been dating a girl since high school. One day, after getting frustrated with her, he wanted to break up with her, but she threatened him that she would kill herself. Kim Do-ha walks away, and the next day he finds out that she is dead and her body is missing. His mother took help from his friends and created a fake alibi. Now that girl’s brother is searching for him to kill him.
Complicated Love:
Mok Sol-hee dated Lee Kang-min, and because of her ability to listen to lies, she misunderstood him and broke up with him. After three years, when he came back and told her about his feelings, she had already fallen for Kim Do-ha. Once she heard a lie from him that he didn’t kill his ex-girlfriend, she ghosted him for a while. Later, she realized her mistake and fell harder for him. She also helped him find out the real culprit.
