It is the story of two women who are living in completely different worlds. Moon Joo Ran (Kim Tae Hee) is a housewife who is married to Jae Ho (Kim Sung Oh). Jae Ho is a doctor and the director of Kiumai Pediatrics Clinic. They are living in a luxurious house with their son. Meanwhile, Chu Sang Eun (Lim Ji Yeon) lives in a shabby apartment with her husband Kim Yoon Beom (Choi Jae Rim). She is suffering from domestic violence.

Main Characters:

Kim Tae Hee as Moon Joo Ran

Moon Joo Ran came from a wealthy family and has a perfect family, her husband is a famous doctor and her son is a topper in class.

Im Ji Yeon as Choo Sang Eun

Choo Sang Eun is a pregnant woman and a victim of domestic violence. Her husband always abuses and she wants to run away from her pathetic life.

Kim Sung Oh as Park Jae Ho

Park Jae Ho is a famous doctor and the director of Kiumai Pediatrics Clinic. He is Joo Ran’s husband.

Choi Jae Rim as Kim Yoon Beom

Yoon Beom is Sang Eun’s husband who works as a salesman at a pharmaceutical company. Three months ago he left the company and now he is jobless.

Strange Smell:

Joo Ran moved with her family to a new house. After her sister’s death, she is in depression and does take medication for that. Most of the time she stays inside her home as she doesn’t have any friends and the only interaction he has is with her family. Joo Ran has a good relationship with her husband as it seems he is very loving, and caring, as he is worried for her wife’s mental health. She notices a strange smell in her backyard and the smell increasing day by day, even her neighbor also noticed a strange smell. However when she asked her husband and son if they also notice the strange smell as if someone is died in the backyard. Both of them denied so she conclude that hallucinating.

Hallucination or Reality:

When the bad odor increasing day by day and it was becoming difficult to bear the thought of digging into the backyard. Strangely Joo Ran found a human hand there and she was in shock later she called her husband. Park Jae Ho lied to her that it was not a human’s hand and he told her that the smell is just natural fertilizer. However, is very familiar with the smell because the smell is very similar to when she found her dead sister in her apartment. Joo Ran was struggling in her own world she was not aware of whether she is hallucinating or it was a reality. More than her words she trusted her husband’s explanations.

Domestic Violence:

Choo Sang Eun is living a completely different life from Joo Ran. Her husband always beat her and her neighbors also always complained to the security guard. He told Sang Eun to report her husband’s abuse, but she always assures him that that will not happen the next time. Sang Eun is five months pregnant and for that also he yell at her for not eating enough as it will harm their baby. Secretly, she has been collecting evidence against Yoon Beom. She was clicking her bruises and recording a video to use as evidence. Sang Eun asked her friend for help so that she file the divorce.

Investigation:

Sang Eun received a phone call in the morning that her husband is dead. Police called her to identify his body in the morgue. On the same day Joo Ran’s sister’s death anniversary but she decided to go with her husband to the memorial service of Park Jae Ho. There Sang Eun told Joo Ran that her husband has killed her husband, Joo Ran was shocked and after that, she started doubting her husband. She checked her CCTV and car dashboard to track her husband’s movement when Yoon Beom died. Hard luck she couldn’t find anything so she take help from her neighbor. After that, she found that Jae Ho went somewhere in her car but he lied to her.

The cinematography and OST are amazing, going well with the drama. Both the woman team up to find out the truth. Feeling bad for Choo Sang Eun even when she was pregnant her husband used to beat her and she have the only option to live her life peacefully after killing her husband.
