Again My Life Korean drama is the story of a young prosecutor and a corrupt politician. Kim Hee Woo (Lee Joon Gi) is not good in his academics but through hard work and determination, he eventually clears the bar exam. Hee Woo is a warmhearted prosecutor who cares for the weak and always follows the truth. He was investigating the powerful politician Jo Tae Seob (Lee Kyong Young).

Lee Joon Gi as Kim Hee Woo
Kim Hee Woo is a handsome, smart, and righteous prosecutor who always fights for powerless people but he ends up dying while trying to take down a corrupt politician Jo Tae Seob. He gets a second chance and travels back in time to get revenge on Jo Tae Seob.
Lee Kyung Young as Jo Tae Seob
Jo Tae Seob is a corrupt politician who uses his position and power for illegal work. But in the public eye, he is the most honest politician and everyone admires him except those who know his true color.
Kim Ji Eun as Kim Hee Ah
Kim Hee Ah is the youngest daughter of the Cheonha Group and the director of the Cheonha Economic Research Institute. She is a friend of Kim Hee Woo since college their days.
Jung Sang Hoon as Lee Min Soo
Lee Min Soo is a friend and senior of Hee Woo. He is a former medical student who first transferred to the arts, then music, and finally studied law at Hankuk University.
Highlights of Again My Life Korean Drama
Travel Back:
Hee Woo is a prosecutor who is known for his righteous method. In his school days, he faced bullying so decided to learn to fight and he is a former MMA fighter. His grades were the lowest in his school but he fight back and was finally taken admission to Hankuk University. One day he gets to know about Jo Tae Seob’s illegal activities so he decides to investigate Tae Seob. He also convinced a key witness to testify but unfortunately, Jo Tae Seob send his men to kill the witness and Hee Woo. Hee Woo realizes that he has died, and his soul meets a female Grim Reaper. She offers Hee Woo a second chance but her condition is to punish Tae Seob in this lifetime. She also advises him to catch the evil he has to become a worse monster. After that Hee Woo finds himself back to 15 years when he was a high school graduate.
Change in Destiny:
Hee Woo’s parents died 15 years ago, he also reunites with his parents both are still alive at the time so he wants to change the fate this time. In the end, Hee Wo manages to save his parents. His parent’s case was unsolved in his previous life so this time he knows who is the killer of his parents. The killer was Tae Seob’s son so he realise why his parent’s case was unsolved. This time Hee Woo and Tae Seob’s life is changing. Hee Woo uses his past memories and changes the future of the people whom he cherishes. He also changed the destiny of his two friends Kim Han Mi and Kim Kyu Ri.
Secret Law Club:
Hee Woo becomes a star student at law school because of his intelligence. Jang Il Hyun and Choi Kang Jin invite him to join their secret law club where only the wealthy and gifted students are invited. It was the club of those people who have the power and Tae Sub is the president of that club. Hee Woo happily accepts their offer because it will help him to overhear Tae Sub’s plan. Because of his membership, he came to know Tae Sub’s plan to make Yong Soo bankrupt and he informs Yong Soo on time. Later Hee Woo came to know that the grim reaper is Tae Sub’s secretary Han Ji Hyun.
First Mission:
After serving military enlistment the second time Hee Woo become a Prosecutor and he requests to be assigned to the Kimsan branch. He meet Jeon Seok Gyu who was demoted for his investigation of the higher-ups. Hee Woo’s motive is clear he wants to go back to Seoul with Jeon Seok Gyu because he is a righteous prosecutor. On the first day of his work, he starts investigating illegal gambling which is operated by the Yuchae Gang, and successfully arrest the whole gang. Hee Woo tells his intention to Seok Gyu what he wants from him, in the starting it was difficult for Hee Woo to convince Seok Gyu but he finally convinced him and take him to Seol.
Team-Up:
Hee Woo wants to show people Tae Sub’s true color and want to take off his mask. Seok Hoon (Chi Kwang Il) welcomes both of them to Seoul but he wants to know Seok Gyu’s true intention on coming back so the give the take to Hee Woo to give all the information about Seok Gyu’s daily. Seok Hoon wiretapped Seok Hoon’s office but Hee Woo detects that so he informed Seok Gyu and Seong Ho to be careful. A day has finally come when Hee Woo will meet Tae Sub one-on-one and after meeting with Hee Woo, Tae Sub was quite impressed with Hee Woo’s talent.
Overall Thoughts on Again My Life Korean Drama
If Lee Joon Gi is in the drama then we can expect that the drama will be outstanding. Again My Life Korean drama is about the prosecutor who gets a second chance to punish the evil corrupt politician. This drama is worth your time and attention highly recommend it. One character that gives me a negative vibe is Lee Min Soo (Jung Sang Hoon) his guess and intelligence are to the point but still, he shows his easy-going side. Sometimes I feel that Min Soo also knows something about Hee Woo’s second life. But it will be very interesting to watch how their lives change this time.
