All of Us Are Dead Korean drama is a story that takes place in a small town where the zombie virus spreads throughout the entire town. During the whole incident, people are trying to fight for their lives. It shows the struggle to keep alive without any food, water, phone, and internet connection. All of Us Are Dead is based on a webtoon “Now at Our School” by Joo Dong Geun.
Main Characters:
Park Ji Hoo as Nam Oh Jo
Nam Oh Jo is a student and not so good at studies, she is the next-door neighbor of Cheong San. Oh Jo has a crush on Soo Hyuk.
Yoon Chan Young as Lee Cheong San
Cheong San is the classmate and childhood friend of Oh Jo. He secretly likes Oh Jo.
Cho Yi Hyun as Choi Nam Ra
Nam Ra is a class president and a top student. She has a cold attitude toward everyone and is always busy with her studies.
Park Solomon as Lee Soo Hyuk
Soo Hyuk is a former bully who used to hang out with bullies in tenth grade and is very good at fighting. He secretly likes Nam Ra.
Highlights of All of Us Are Dead Korean Drama
Zombified Son:
The drama started with a bullying scene, where a science teacher Lee Byung Chan (Kim Byung Chul) is was bullied by a group of students. Later in the hospital, we witness that his son was transforming into a zombie and he was hitting his zombified son with a bible. In the science lab because of the curiosity of Kim Hyun Joo (Jo Yi Seo) gets bitten by a rabid mouse so Byung Chan ties her in the laboratory’s room and gives her a shot but she escapes from there. Her homeroom teacher Park Seon Hwa (Lee Sang Hee) and school nurse decided to send her to the hospital. Hyun Joo informed them that Byung Chan has tied her in the science lab.
Zombie’s Outbreak:
Hyun Joo scratched the nurse’s hand, she also start showing symptoms. In the blink of an eye, the whole school was turning into zombies. Every individual was running for survival meanwhile, a group of students locked in the class. They were waiting for help from the outside in this entire process our main leads lost their best friend. While escaping Yi Sak was bitten by a zombie whereas Na Yeon put the zombie’s blood in Kyung Soo’s wound just to prove her allegation.
Zombie Virus:
In Byung Chan’s recording, we found that the zombie virus is his creation. He was tired of his son being a bully and desperately want to make him stronger so that no one can bully his son in school. That’s why he decided to change his son and was hoping that his son wouldn’t die. In the process of making his son stronger, he makes hell. Somehow he was telling a police officer to quartine the girl but they ignore his warning. And in the blink of an eye whole city transform into a zombie field.
Survival Game:
Everyone was stuck and some were trying to run for survival. n the school Cheon San and his group are trying their best to survive, they are waiting for help but they were not aware of the situation. They have to survive without food and water, they have a lot of arguments and disagreements also. In the whole survival, they share a bond together and even come close to each other. Everyone was trying their best to survive and some has sacrificed their lives for their loved ones. However, inside the military quarantine camp, they were found out that the virus transforms and evolves on its own. It is an ever-changing monster and treatment or a vaccine are impossible. There is only no solution that is death completely burning and killing the zombie.
Overall Thoughts on All of Us Are Dead Korean Drama:
After watching the Kingdom series I love watching the zombie genre. Although this drama is ok nothing special still you can give it a try, it’s a one-time watch drama. I personally love Choi Nam Ra and Lee Soo Hyuk’s characters more as compared to the main leads. Oh Jo and Cheong San’s character was so dumb and annoying because of their stupid decisions in the starting. As this drama shows the story and emotions of teenage high school students so we can somehow understand their decisions. Through this drama, we can learn so many things like how important it is to think before making any decision and to one wrong move affect you and the people around you. Most importantly always be kind to one another and help always help each other in need.
