Over a period of time, we have watched so many Korean dramas and I’m sure just like me you people have the whole list of your favorite Korean dramas. So in this blog, I have made the list of my top Korean drama of all time (Part 1) Yes! you are right soon I’ll share with you (Part 2) also because the list is too long. *NOTE* not in ranking.
1. 49 Days
Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) was about to be married to her fiance Kang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin), but her life was shattered in a car accident which left her in a coma. She is given a second chance by a Scheduler (Jung Il Woo), but there was a condition that she has to find three people genuine tears outside of her family. To complete her mission, she borrows the body of Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won). She is part-time at a convenience store and also somehow responsible for Ji Hyun’s accident.
2. A Gentleman’s Dignity
The story revolves around four men who are in their forties as they go through breakup, love, and failure. They have been friends since they were teenagers. Kim Do Jin (Jang Dong Gun) is an architect who is brutally honest and loves his work, but because of his cold personality, he is still single. Seo Yi Soo (Kim Ha Neul) a high school teacher and loves playing baseball games in her free time.
3. Beautiful Mind
Lee Young Oh (Jang Hyuk) is a neurosurgeon with zero sympathies. One day, he becomes involved in his patient deaths. Gye Jin Sung (Park So Dam) is a traffic policewoman and she starts suspecting Yeong Oh. A series of mysterious patient deaths start occurring at the hospital to find the murderer Yeong Oh starts investigating.
4. Beautiful Gong Shim
Gong Shim (Minah) is a warm-hearted woman and her mother and older sister always outcast her because of her appearance. Gong Mi (Seo Hyo Rim) is Gong Shim’s older sister who has everything beautiful appearance and her family love her. Ahn Dan Tae (Namkoong Min) lives in the rental room on a rooftop apartment.
5. Boys Over Flower
The story revolves around Geum Jan Di (Koo Hye Sun) and the four rich kids named “F4”. Gu Jun Pyo (Lee Min Ho) is the leader of group F4 and the heir of one of the biggest companies in South Korea. He is a hot-tempered spoiled kid who believes that he can buy anything with money. One day he meets Geum Jan Di who fights back against Jun Pyo’s bullying ways. Geum Jan Di came from a poor family. He tortures her but ends up falls in love with her and he can do anything just to protect her.
6. Because This is My First Life
The story revolves around the landlord and tenant who are in their early 30’s. Nam Se Hee (Lee Min Ki) is a single man. He doesn’t want to marry but her mother keeps forcing him to do. He owns his home, but he owes a lot on his mortgage. Yoon Ji Ho (Jung So Min) is a single woman and she does not own a home.
7. Crash Landing on You
Ri Jeong Hyeok (Hyun Bin) is a North Korean army captain whereas Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye Jin) is a South Korean successful businesswoman who has everything except the love of her family. One day while Paragliding Se Ri got caught in an accident and landed in North Korea, where she meets captain Ri and his company’s five officers. They all are trying to protect her from the North Korean army. One of the top Korean dramas of all time.
8. Cheese in The Trap
Hong Seol (Kim Go Eun) is a university student and Yoo Jung (Park Hae Jin) is her senior. He is intelligent, handsome, as well as successful, but he is hiding his dark side from other students. However, he is very manipulative and cold toward others. He can not easily form the relationship with others. Yoo Jung always thinks that people are using him because he is rich but he starts falling for Hong Seol.
9. Chief Kim
Kim Sung Ryong (Namkoong Min) manages money for gangsters and he is a skilled accountant. Sung Ryong got an opportunity, he starts working for TQ Company as a chief of an accounting department. After working there he involves in office politics.
10. Descendants of The Sun
Yoon Shi Jin (Song Joong Ki) is a captain in the Korean Military. One day while catching a thief with Sergeant Major Seo Dae Young (Jin Goo) he visits a hospital. Kang Mo Yeon (Song Hye Kyo) is a doctor and she mistakenly assumes that Shi Jin is a gang member. This drama is the story of an army officer and doctor who are always ready for their duty, dating n that situation is kind of difficult for both of them. One of the top Korean dramas of all time.
11. Doctors
Hye Jung (Park Shin Hye) lives a difficult life from a young age because of her prickly personality. She was good at fighting and studied. Meanwhile, her life completely changes after meeting with Hong Ji Hong (Kim Rae Won). He plays a key role in transforming her from a gangster life to a successful doctor.
12. Defendant
Park Jung Woo (Ji Sung) is a prosecutor at Seoul Central Prosecutors Office. One morning when he wakes up, he finds himself locked at the police station. Jung Woo is falsely accused of killing his wife Ji Soo (Son Yeo Eun) and daughter Ha Yeon (Shin Rin Ah) and is sentenced to death. However, he was continuously denying that and struggles a lot to prove his innocence. One day he plans to run away from prison with his prison squad.
13. Duel
Jang Deuk Cheon (Jung Jae Young) is a homicide detective. He is a kind and friendly father to his daughter. He involves in a shocking case after the kidnap of his daughter. Jang Deuk Cheon meeting with the human clone. The case became more complicated when he finds out that two men with the same face were at the crime scene.
14. Flower of Evil
Baek Hee Sung (Lee Joon Gi) changes his identity to change his cruel past where his father was a serial killer. He is an ideal husband and father. One day suddenly his serial killer father’s Do Min Seok (Choi Byung Mo) case again begins to resurface in the media then his detective wife Cha Ji Won (Moon Chae Won) begins to suspect him as a serial killer. One of the top Korean dramas of all time.
15. Falling For Innocence
After the sudden death of Min Ho’s (Jung Kyoung Ho) father his uncle taking over his company. He hates his uncle after his betrayal. Fast forward, Min Ho undergoes a heart transplant surgery, and after the surgery his personality changes. Now he has warm feelings and starts falls in love with Soon Jung (Kim So Yeon).
16. Fated To Love You
Because of the good nature of Mi Yeon (Jang Nara) her co-workers take her advantage. While on vacation, she accidentally spends one night with a stranger Lee Gun (Jang Hyuk). He is charming, handsome, and rich. After that unwelcomed incident, her messy life will never be the same.
17. Goblin
In Goryeo times, Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) was a general of wars. But in an incident, he got cursed and now he is living as a goblin for 900 years. Now he is waiting for her human wife. On a snowy day, Kim Shin saves a pregnant woman who is destined to die. Fast forward, one day while crossing a street, he meets a high-school girl Ji Eun Tak (Kim So Eun) who can see ghosts.

Seo Jung Hoo (Ji Chang Wook) known as “Healer” and Chae Young Shin (Park Min Young) who is a reporter at Someday News, she lives with her father who is a lawyer and owner of the coffee shop. Young Shin wants to become a famous reporter like Kim Moon Ho (Yoo Ji Tae). Moon Ho begins to uncover the mystery with the two reporters Young Shin and Jung Hoo.

Kyu Won (Park Shin Hye) is a student of the Korean traditional music department and she plays gayageum. Shin (Jung Yong Hwa) is a smart and handsome guy of university who is a guitarist. Both are the students of same university and loves music.

Cha Yu Ri (Kim Tae Hee) died 5 years ago and now she is a ghost. She always walks back and forth in front of her daughter and her loved ones. Yu Ri left behind her husband Jo Kang Hwa (Lee Kyu Hyung) works as a thoracic surgeon and her daughter Jo Seo Woo (Seo Woo Jin). He blames himself for the death of her wife. Meanwhile, Kang Hwa is remarried to Min Jung (Go Bo Gyeol). Through a reincarnation project, she is given the chance to become human again if she manages to “get her place back” within 49 days.

Hwarang is a story of a young elite male group known as hwarang. Hwarangs are supposed to serve the queen of Silla. The Kingdom of Silla has been ruled by Queen Ji So after the death of King Beopheung. She has been kept hiding her young son Sam Maek Jong.

Hospital Playlist is the story of five doctors who have been friends since they entered medical school in 1999. They are still friends and work together at the same hospital. Lee Ik Joon (Jo Jung Suk) is a general surgeon and loves clubbing and playing games. Kim Jun Wan (Jung Kyung Ho) is a Cardiothoracic surgeon and loves playing golf. Ahn Jung Won (Yoo Yeon Suk) is a pediatrician but he desires to become a priest by attending a theological school in Italy. Yang Seok Hyung (Kim Dae Myung) is an OB-GYN surgeon. Chae Song Hwa (Jeon Mi Do) is a neurosurgeon and the only female in the group. She loves to purchase camping supplies in her free time. Every weekend they meet up in a basement to practice as a band.
23. It’s Okay That’s Love (2014)
Jang Jae Yeol (Jo In-Sung) is a writer of mystery novels and a radio DJ of a popular show. Ji Hae Soo (Gong Hyo Jin) is a psychiatry at a University Hospital. Hae Soo doesn’t want to perform surgeries so she chose psychiatry as a career. Jae Yeol and Hae Soo meet in a talk show panel and after that meeting there life goes through big changes.
24. It’s Okay To Not Be Okay
Moon Kang Tae (Kim Soo Hyun), a caretaker at a psychiatric ward, was busy taking care of his older brother Moon Sang Tae (Oh Jung Se) who is suffering from autistic. He doesn’t have any time for love. Ko Moon Young (Seo Ye Ji) is a successful children’s book author, but she is suffering from an antisocial personality disorder. Their first meeting was a total disaster. This K-drama focuses on the mental health of the person. One of the top Korean dramas of all time.
25. I Miss You
Han Jung Woo (Park Yoo Chun) is a homicide detective. When he was in the high school, he was in love with a girl Lee Su Yeon (Yoon Eun Hye) whose father was a murderer. Su Yeon would get bullied and teased by other kids in the school but Jung Woo always protect her. But one childhood accident separates them and lost the touch with each other.
26. Kill Me Heal Me
Chan Do hyun (Ji Sung) is a president of a company who is suffering for personality disorder disease. Oh Ri Jin (Hwang Jung Eun) is a psychiatrist. He ask Ri Jin to help him secretly but one of his personalities fall in love with her. Oh Ri Jin twin’s brother Oh Ri On is a famous mystery novelist who is investigating on Do Hyun and his family.
27. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo
Wang So (Lee Joon Gi) known as the cruel, cold among all the prince. People around him always misunderstood and feared him, he doesn’t like meeting with people. One day he meets Han Soo (IU) after that he begins to change and his bad-boy nature almost declined. But when he became King he was forced to take many heartbreaking decisions and that again leads to his cruel behavior.
28. My Love From Another Star
Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) is an alien who is living on the earth for 400 years. He is a professor at a university and a very cold-hearted person. One day he meets Cheon Song Yi (Jun Ji Hyun) who is her neighbor and a famous Korean actress.
29. Modern Farmers (2014)
The story revolves around love, friendship, and dreams. Lee Min Ki (Lee Hong Ki), Kang Hyeok (Park Min Woo), Yoo Han Cheol (Lee Si Un) and Han Ki Joon (Kwak Dong Yeon) are the member of a rock band called Ex-So “Excellent Souls”. They are struggling with the hardship of life so they decide to move to the countryside and became farmers to earn some money. One of the top Korean dramas of all time.
30. Pinocchio
Ha Myeong (Lee Jong Suk) lost his parents due to a tragic event in his childhood. He ends up near the ocean, and Choi In Ha’s (Park Shin Hye) grandfather saves his life. Her grandfather believes that he is his elder son Dal Po, who died 30 years ago. In Ha and Dal Po are the same age but they live together as niece and uncle. Both go to the same school, work together and fall in love. Choi In Ha is a reporter who is suffering from “Pinocchio Syndrome” which makes her hiccups whenever she tells a lie.
