Ji Oh (Kim Rae Won) is chased by mysterious people. But the problem is that he has no idea who he is. He has a special power. Every time he wakes up in an unexpected place he forgets his past and what he is doing there he has no idea. Gu Reum (Lee Da Hee) is a detective. At a younger age, her parents disappeared and she is searching for the truth behind her parent’s disappearance.

Ji Oh has a secret power and he is chased by unknown people because of his supernatural power. He is the human invention and Human Tech. researchers wants him for the research.
Lee Da Hee as Ae Gu Reum
Gu Reum is a detective in the Violent Crimes Unit. She is secretly solving a case and searching for her disappear parents.
Kim Sung Oh as Lee Son
Lee Son is a former Special Forces soldier and now he is working for Human Tech. He is chasing Ji Oh.
Highlights of L.U.C.A.: The Beginning Korean Drama
Supernatural Power:
A lady is running away in the building while holding a baby in her hands. When she reached the top of the building she released the baby. In the present day, the baby is grown up and he is lying unconscious on the ground. Suddenly Sung Oh with his burned hand he was trying to stab Ji Oh but he failed in attempting him. Later, his man takes him to the science lab for treating his burned hand. Sung Oh is in extreme pain and continuously shouting.
First Encounter:
While chasing a suspect Gu Reum was hit by Ji Oh truck. She was lying unconscious he performs CPR but got no response. He again uses his superpower but still no response. For the last time, he uses his all strength and power to save Gu Reum finally she started breathing. All these years he was hiding but when he saves Gu Reum, his video was trending all over the internet. Meanwhile, Human Tech people also discover his whereabouts.
Ji Oh And Lee Son Encounter:
After discovering Ji Oh’s whereabouts Lee Son and his team are on the way to capture Ji Oh. He is looking more desperate to capture Ji Oh because of his electrical shock Lee Son’s hands burnt. When they reach Ji Oh’s workplace they pushed his senior into the incinerator machine. After witnessing the horrible scene his supernatural power comes out. He escapes from there and but Lee Son again finds out. Ji Oh manages to reach the rooftop building and he grabs Lee Son’s arm in the scared of burning again he kicks Ji Oh from the rooftop building.
Hidden Human Experiments:
Human Tech researchers are doing the experiments and they have locked up many animals. All they want Ji Oh because he is one of those experiments that they have done and they want him. Ji Oh can produce electricity from his body. Kim Cheol Soo (Park Hyuk Kwon) and Hwang Jung Ah (Jin Kyung) are also involved in the research. After so many failed attempts they finally caught Ji Oh. Zi O again returns to the lab where they caught him as a child. Ryu Joong Kwon (Ahn Nae Sang) wants to lock him in the lab so he tells him a shocking truth so that Ji Oh stays with him forever.
Investigation:
Gu Reum is doing her own investigating secretly to find the mystery of the disappearance of her parents. Ji Oh is also link with the case. She is very desperate in finding her disappear parents. Gu Reum finds out that Human Tech. people are also involved in this. She is also helping Ji Oh in hiding him from them. Professor Oh is also helping her but later Lee Sun also kills him because he knows the truth about Ji Oh.
Gu Reum’s Lead on Investigation:
Gu Reum finally finds a new lead on her investigation. She reunited with Zi O in the Human Tech’s secret lab. Ji Oh has no control over his power he wants to kill everyone inside the lab even Gu Reum also tries to stop him, but he loses his control while fighting Lee Son. Gu Reum is also hurt by his power so he takes her to the hospital. On the other hand, they made a police officer murderer because they have power and money.
New Beginning:
After that shocking news, Ji Oh wants to protect her. He takes Gu Reum to a place where he used to before. They both start to spend their days together meanwhile, Ji Oh also starts enjoying his normal life for the first time. Whereas Gu Reum wants to return instead of living there forever. But Ji Oh keeps insisting on her stay with him and after some time she also agrees with him. Gu Reum falls pregnant after their night together. Gu Reum gives birth to a baby girl. After few days Captain Choi shows up at the hospital with his gang and takes Gu Reum and her newborn baby.
Overall Thoughts On L.U.C.A.: The Beginning Korean Drama
L.U.C.A.: The Beginning Korean Drama is full of action and thriller scenes. I’m really enjoying this Korean drama. I think the speed of drama is very slow because all of them are just chasing each other. Those who have watched Awaken Korean drama may have this drama a little bit similar because of the involvement of human experiments and supernatural power. L.U.C.A.: The Beginning Korean Drama has a mixed feeling in the starting it was good but after a few episodes, it feels a little boring because as a viewer you can easily guess the plot. Many of you will also not like the ending of the drama. There is no character development in this drama, instead, as the drama progress, the characters get more stupid. Their decision is also bizarre. I personally have very high expectations from this drama but it is not up to the mark. You can also watch L.U.C.A.: The Beginning Korean Drama in Viki. Lee Son’s character is also annoying he was just behind the hand of Ji Oh. He had nothing to do with anything but only need Ji Oh’s hand.
