Live on Korean drama is all about problems in youths life and despite all odds finding their true self. Sometimes you enjoy the romance between the leads, sometimes fights between the best friends, and sometimes a few dramas teach us life lessons. This is one of those dramas.
Main Characters:
Jung Da-bin as Baek Ho-rang
She pretends to be cold-hearted, rude, and very popular at school and I social media. She did paid promotions to many cosmetic brands.
Hwang Min-hyun as Go Eun-taek
He is the captain of the Broadcasting team. He is smart, intelligent, and very punctual.
Noh Jong-hyun as Do Woo-jae
He is on the school discipline committee and shy with nature. He is the friend of Go Eun-taek and boyfriend of Kang Jae-yi.
Yang Hye Ji as Ji So Hyun
She is also a part of the broadcasting team and a friend of Baek Ho-rang.
Yeon Woo as Kang Jae-yi
She is very straight forward and girlfriend of Do Woo-jae. She often gets into a fight with him because he didn’t open up in front of her.
Choi Byung-chan as Kim Yoo-shin
He is a fun-loving guy, a very cute and good friend of Baek Ho-rang. He is very understanding and has a huge crush on Ji So-hyun.

Popular But Isolated
On the first day of school and everyone is talking about only one person Baek Ho-rang. Some are complimenting her beauty, some are talking about her rude behavior, and some are bitching about her. She is very popular on social media. Her parents were busy so they don’t pay any attention to her. She is rude towards everyone so she doesn’t have any friends except Kim Yoo-shin.
On Hunt
The broadcasting team of the school daily narrates a story sent by various students. Two narrated stories back to back are related to Baek Ho-rang’s past. She created fuzz in the broadcasting room. Later she also gets weird messages that someone knows about her past and it will reveal soon. To haunt that person she even joins the broadcasting team.
Confession
After joining the broadcasting team she tried hard to know about that story sending person. While working together Go Eun-taek finds out that Baek Ho-rang is not that cold hearted how much she pretends to be. Gradually he feels connected to her and confesses his feelings to her. After waiting for a while Go Eun-taek gets his answer and they both started dating.
Victim or Assailant
It was school festival eve and Baek Ho-rang was the host of the day. On the live telecast, the story sending person sent a photo which shows that Baek Ho-rang is a school violence Assailant. Later she tracked down that person and did another live broadcast at school with the help of her friends. This telecast was to let everyone know that she is not an assailant but a school violence victim. She was scared to tell this because she has thought what people think of her but the support of her friends gives her the courage to do so.
Broken Friendship
Baek Ho-rang and Ji So-hyun are good friends but after this bully thing happen they drifted apart due to some misunderstanding. After two years they were in the same school and same committee but hated each-other. When this misunderstanding cleared out after broadcasting they again united as best friends.
Second Lead Romance
Kang Jae-yi and Do Woo-jae are lovey-dovey couples of the school. They break-up often but their love for each other can’t help it. So they patch-up as soon as they broke up. They together just steal the limelight in the whole drama.
Overall Thought On Live On Korean Drama
If you guys are looking for high school Korean drama then you can binge-watch this one on weekends. I like the love story between the second leads, they were cute together. Kim Yoo-shin is super cute and super friendly. It was really fun watching him.
