Alice Korean drama is all about time travel. People from 2050 travel in past for their benefit with the help of a device called “Alice”.

Main Characters

Kim Hee Sun as Yoon Tae Yi/ Park Sun Young

Park Sun young is a time traveler and was the one who found time travel. She came from year 2050 and stay in year 1992 to save her son.

Yoon Tae Yi is a physics professor who was very desperate to find time traveling.

Joo Won as Park Jin Gyum

Park Jin Gyum was the son of Park Sun Young. He became detective to find murderer of his mother. He was very Strong willed person.

Kwak Shi Yang as Yoo Min Hyuk

Yoo Min Hyuk was also a time traveler. He was the member of Alice group, lover of Park Sun Young and father of Park Jin Gyum.

Lee Da In as Kim Do Yeon

Kim Do Yeon worked at broadcasting company and only friend of Park Jin Gyum since high school. She has feelings for him.

Highlights of Alice Korean Drama

Time Travel:

Two couples Yoon Tae Yi and Yoo Min Hyuk who work for Alice travel back in the past (1992) to find a book called “Book of prophecy”. After traveling she came to know that she is pregnant and it is very dangerous for her and her child to travel back in such condition so she decided to abandon his husband and stay in past to raise her child. She also changed her name to Park Sun Young. She gave birth to a son and after a few years, she came to know that due to the side effects of time travel her son was unable to express or feel emotions.

Suffer The Loss:

On the day of the lunar eclipse of 2010 Park Sun Young got murdered and to investigate his mother’s mysterious murder case Park Jin Gyum became a detective in the year 2020. Before dying she tells her son that if he sees her again in the future avoid at any cost.

Strange Cases:

Strange cases happen to take place a man was killed at the hotel and all camera footage was gone missing. Another case was of a woman who went on a business trip but at the same time, she meets her daughter to warn her not to go to the U.S. for higher studies. Reality is a boy who came from the future to kill his big brother who used to abuse him in his childhood. A woman whose daughter died in the U.S. came back in past to stop her from going there.

Meet Again:

Park Jin Gyum saw her mother after ten years but she was Yoon tae Yi and looks exactly like her mother. Later he came to know that she is a physics professor at University and her personality is different from his mother.

Time Card:

While catching the culprit Park Jin Gyum witnessed that the culprit disappears into the thin air with the help of a card. When he searches his mother’s belongings he saw the same time card he talked about it with professor Yoon tae Yi which put her in danger. Detective Park Jin Gyum take responsibility to save her.

Time Travel:

Park Jin Gyum make his first time travel with the help of his mother’s time travel card. He reaches in the year 2010 when his mother was murdered. He thought it was his chance to save his mother but he couldn’t.

Lost In Time:

A time traveler tried to kill Yoon Tae Yi because he thinks she is Park Sun Young. When he tried to kill her Park Jin Gyum confront him. Time traveler used his time card while falling from the cliff with Yoon Tae Yi but this time he died and Yoon Tae Yi lost in time. She is in the year 2021 where she tried to find Park Jin Gyum and came to know that he died and police are still searching for the murderer. Yoon Tae Yi came back she was very scared and tried to convince Park Jin Gyum not to find her mother’s murderer. She failed to convince him so she told her the truth.

Mr. Ko Killed:

Mr. Ko was suspected by every one of killing Park Jin Gyum’s mother but he was the one who wants to save her but couldn’t because he wants to protect his wife. Instead, he took good care of Park Jin Gyum as his son. Mr. Ko was also a time traveler whose wife died in 2050 and he came back in past to meet her wife. When he saw his past self was killed by someone so he decided to leave there.

Strange Things Happens:

Strange things started to happen. Park Jin Gyum and Yoon Tae Yi again traveled through the time and went back to the year 2010. Yoon tae Yi meets Park Jin Gyum’s mother who told her that their fates are entangled and she must keep the distance from Park Jin Gyum. A person who was alive in the year 2020 was dead in the year 2010. Park Jin Gyum wants to save her mother but failed. He witnessed her mother’s death do the third time now. Every time her mother died from a gunshot but this time she was stabbed by a knife. Yoon tae Yi got attacked by an unknown person (his face was hidden) while saving her Park Jin Gyum got stabbed, she also finds out the last page of “Book of prophecy”. After this immediately they both were traveled back in present.

Side Effects Of Time Travel:

There were side effects on both Park Jin Gyum and Yoon tae Yi. Park Jin Gyum hear weird voices from a different dimension. While Yoon tae Yi can visualize things through which Park Jin Gyum’s mother has gone through. After hearing voices Park Jin Gyum’s personality changes completely. He tried to kill whoever is in front of him and later forgets about his behavior completely.

Time Travelers On Work:

Time travels started kidnapping people who know about them. The teacher who is their boss appeared in front of Park Jin Gyum and Yoon tae Yi. To save Park Jin Gyum she sacrifices herself. Later he killed the teacher to stop time travel which reset everything. Now time travels are gone, dead people came back to life.

Overall Thought on Alice Korean Drama:

The plot of Alice Korean drama was amazing. I like the characters acting especially Kim Hee Sun as Yoon tae Yi. Alice Korean drama is so unpredictable and you will amaze with every passing episode till the first half of the drama they messed up in the last few episodes but still, I enjoyed the drama.
