Season 1 has only 8 episodes and it ends with suspense and I’m eagerly waiting for season 2. Hope it will air soon. Love Alarm is all about finding your love with the help of technology. As people are completely dependent on technology. Now they put their fate of loving someone and being loved by someone on technology as well.

Main Characters:

Kim So Hyun as Kim Jo Jo

She is a beautiful and hardworking girl who studies in a high school. She does part-time jobs to pay off her mother’s department, grandma’s hospital bills. lived with her aunt and her cousin Gul Mi, they are so mean to her. Despite all this situation, she seems cheerful and happy always.

Song Kang as Hwang Sun Oh

He returned from the U.S. and goes to the same school in which Jo Jo does. He hates both his parents because they wanted to get rid of him when he was a kid and his friend Lee Hye Yeong who saved his life back then.

Jung Ga Ram as Lee Hye Yeong

He is the best friend of Sun Oh and has a long-time crush on Jojo. He lives with Sun Oh in his house as his mother was housekeeper there.

Highlights of Love Alarm Korean Drama

Technology:

Love alarm is an application that helps in discovering love. It notifies if someone loves you or not within the range of 10 meters. Tagline says” if you love someone ring the love alarm“, developed by an average-looking guy Cheong Duk Gu (Lee Jae Eung) who wants to express his love for Park Gul Mi (Go Min Si) Jo Jo’s cousin and is very popular among students in school. But only ends up creating hatred for himself in her mind.

Love Confession:

They both fall in love with Jo Jo, Sun Oh is very straightforward so confessed his feeling for her by ringing her love alar. On the other hand, Hye Yeong had feelings for her but backed off because of his friend. Jo Jo and Sun Oh date for a while, they went on a school trip on juju island, but Jo Jo passed ruined it all. They both went on a drive and got into an accident, they were both admitted to the hospital and after returning from there Jo Jo is not able to catch up with Sun Oh.

Warning:

Gul Mi also likes Sun Oh and threatened her sister a few times to do break up with him but Jo Jo denied doing so. Gul Mi tried to convince Sun Oh as well as his best friend that she is not the right person to believe. Both of them didn’t take her seriously and avoided her completely. Her only motive is to get fame by taking the easy route.

Different Route:

Jo Jo didn’t want a protective wall around her and she has so much going on in her life. So she decides to break up with Sun Oh without telling him the reason behind it. Sun Oh asked several times the reason behind leaving him like this, but then he got no answers. Jojo decided on her own to walk on a different route.

After Few Years:

Jo Jo is still struggling between her livelihood and family problems. She is doing different part-time jobs and her sister Gum Mi has made her debut and still struggling for fame. Sun Oh is also doing modeling and ringing the love alarm of Jo Jo when they met after so long time. Hey Yeong also saw her after a while and decide this time he will tell her about his feelings for Jo Jo and he did. Sun Oh asked her if she loves him she replied “I don’t think I can love someone else as I loved you once, but Hye Yeong is a kind and warm person I try to be nice with as much I can”.

Getting Curious:

Sun Oh asked her to ring Hye Yeong’s love alarm in front of him then I’ll back out. Jo Jo makes drawings that are quite famous and she got an invitation to the opening of Love alarm 2.0. Where Sun Oh and Hye Yeong both rang the love of Jo Jo, now it’s up to her to choose one. The drama ends here and my assumptions start about to whom she will pick and I guess so do you guys.
