It is the story of seven people involved in a girl’s disappearance case, and the “Bobble Incident” gets media and public attention. Do Hyuk became the culprit and lost his life with Kang Ki Tak. But the truth was they didn’t die and he was looking for a way to make a public appearance. Min Do Hyuk and Ki Tak want to show the public Mattew Lee’s true identity. Main Characters:
Uhm Ki Joon as Matthew Lee
Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon) is the CEO of the biggest mobile platform company, “Tikitaka.” His real identity was Shim Joon Seok, heir of Sungchan Group. After plastic surgery, he returns as Matthew Lee and pretends to be Lee Hui So, the father of Da Mi.
Hwang Jung Eum as Geum Ra Hee
Geum Ra Hee (Hwang Jung Eum) is the CEO of a production company and the biological mother of Bang Da Mi. She is very greedy and can do anything for money.
Lee Joon as Min Do Hyuk
Min Do Hyuk (Lee Joon) is a gangster whose life is full of betrayal. He loves his mother and younger brother, and even though Do Hyuk is adopted, his mother loves him like his son. He was the biological son and real heir of the chairman of Sungchan Group.
Lee Yoo Bi as Han Mo Ne
Han Mo Ne (Lee Yoo Bi) wants to become an idol. She seems to have a perfect life, and everyone is jealous of her rich background. Mo Ne flaunts her background, but no one knows what she shows is different in reality; her life is full of lies.
Shin Eun Kyung as Cha Joo Ran
Cho Joo Ran (Shin Eun Kyung) is an ob-gyn and mistress of Bang Chil Sung (Lee Deok Hwa). She was with Chairman Bang only for his money.
Yoon Jong Hoon as Yang Jin Mo
Yang Jin Mo (Yoon Jong Hoon) is the CEO of Cherry Entertainment. He is very greedy and will do anything for money. Jin Mo didn’t like Kang Ki Tak because he was his rival in the entertainment circle.
Jo Yoon Hee as Go Myung Ji
Go Myung Ji (Jo Yoon Hee) is an art teacher and she has an affair with the sports teacher to hide her weakness Myung Ji spreads a fake rumor at the school that Da Mi has given birth to a child.
Jo Jae Yoon as Nam Chul Woo
Nam Chul Woo was the chief detective of Deokseon Police Station. He frames Da Mi’s father for drug dealing and a drug addict. Later he framed him for killing his daughter.
Yoon Tae Young as Kang Ki Tak
Kang Ki Tak was the ex-boyfriend of Geum Ra Hee who still had a feeling for her. Later he found out that he was the biological father of Bang Da Mi. He was supporting Min Do Hyuk in his revenge.
Lee Jung Shin as Hwang Chan Seong
Hwang Chan Seong was the CEO of a media company named “Save”. He also hates Min Do Hyuk and wants to kill him.

Dead or Alive?
Matthew Lee tried to kill Min Do Hyuk and gave the other six an option either they could die with Min Do Hyuk or join his hand and become rich. They choose to exciting offer where they can be rich and leave Do Hyuk there to die. At the last moment, Ki Tak and Lee Hwi So save him but Hwi So sacrifices his life so that with the dead body Matthew Lee thinks Do Hyuk is dead. After a few months, Min Do Hyuk regained consciousness and found out that K has become Lee Hwi So and a national hero with the power of LUCA. Kang Ki Tak gives him a USB on LUCA which Lee Hwi So left for him. Then he starts his revenge game with Kang Ki Tak.
Movie Preview:
To show the public the features of TIKITAKA’s new children’s home application, Matthew Lee tries to abduct Myoung Ji’s child. He wants every citizen should install applications on their devices so that Matthew can collect data to become more powerful. Meanwhile, Director Michell was planning to expose Han Mo Ne through the movie “Dear D”. She was trying to stop the movie teaser but Matthew Lee and Geum Ra Hee had no intention of doing that. Because of Mo Ne’s trick, Matthew decides to stop the movie preview.
Medusa
Finally, Min Do Hyuk decided to reveal himself and everyone was surprised when they found out Do Hyuk was still alive. Matthew is furious and doubts Mo Ne was helping him, he gathers everyone to find out the traitor. Meanwhile, Do Hyuk also makes his move by becoming a national hero, public goes crazy for him. He received a call from an unknown number who introduced himself as “Medusa” and she was helping him to fight against Matthew. Medusa warns Do Hyuk not to tell anyone not even Ki Tak.
Mysterious Cha Sung:
Mo Ne decides to marry Hwang Chan Sung and at their engagement, Matthew tries to get close to Chan Sung but Chan Sung ignores him because he also knows Matthew’s true intentions. Meanwhile, Do Hyuk and Ki Tak break into Matthew’s place and enter the secret room to access LUCA and he decides to tell Ki Tak that someone is helping him even though Matthew is not aware after Do Hyuk’s confession Matthew also knows that someone is a traitor.
Overall Thoughts on The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection Korean Drama:
The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection is all about greed, jealousy, and betrayal. The hazards of technology are in the hands of those ignorant who will misuse it for their benefit. This drama is okay, I’m not gonna re-watch it, some episodes are boring you can skip this drama if it is on your watchlist. This drama is a total waste of time, the ones who hurt Da Mi are shown as good at the end but for them, the villain is Cha Sung no doubt he was the villain too but what about the others, who hurt Da Mi the most, they are the killers. This drama bothers me with the plot.
