Ban Ji Eum (Shin Hye Sun) remembers the memories of all her past lives. Whenever she reaches the age of 8 to age 12, she recalls all her past lives. In her 18th life, she meets a boy name Moon Seo Ha (Ahn Bo Hyun), they promise to marry but destiny has something else, and they get involved in a car accident where Joo Won lost her life. In the current 19th life of Ji Eum, she wants to find Seo Ha as he is now a grown young man.

Past Lives Memories:
Joo Won is a 12-year-old girl who remembers her all past lives. She was more mature than the other kids of her age. In her 18th life, she met an 8-year-old boy Seo Ha, he doesn’t talk to anyone and didn’t get along with anyone. His mother was terminally ill and he doesn’t want to bother her mother. One day he meets Joo Won in the starting he was mean to her but it didn’t last long as Joo Won is very good with her words and has a bright and strong personality. Slowly they became closer so Joo Won decide to give Seo Ha a gift and give him a task to find the key to open the box. Inside the box she has to pack a special gift for him. While going to an amusement park they were involved in a car accident where Joo Won lost her life and Seo Ha lost his hearing.
19th Life:
From the age of 8 to 12 she recalls all her past lives. She hates remembering all her past lives and whenever she is near death, she hopes that she will never be reborn or remember her past lives. However, in her 18th life, she wishes to remember everything and wants to be reborn again to meet Seo Ha. Fast forward to her 19th life, she was living as Ban Ji Eum her family was very poor. After recalling her memories she wants to meet Seo Ha now he is a grown-up boy she follows him everywhere. Meanwhile, after the incident, Seo Ha refuses to have a relationship with other people and suddenly he went to Germany for higher studies and still she decides to wait.
Unforgettable Joo Won:
After coming back to Korean Seo Ha decide to work at the MI hotel and he decides to hire talented people in his hotel. When Ji Eum came to know about the job opportunity at MI Hotel she decide to work there and hopes to back again in Seo Ha’s life. There she saw another familiar face her younger sister Yoon Cho Won she was so happy to see her again. When Ban Ji Eum came to Seo Ha life his life changed. Ji Eum was shocked when she find out the people from her 18th life still remember her even after her death. In all her past life this is the first time she was witnessing the sadness of her loved one.
Accident or Murder?
Whenever Ji Eum was around Seo Ha and Cho Won they felt the presence of Joo Won because of her action and her caring nature for them. Although she wants to keep her identity secret from them whenever she sees them in sorrow, she gets sad so Ji Eum decides to reveal her identity first to her younger sister Cho Won. Cho Won was in shock but later she accept the fact that Ji Eum is her older sister Joo Won. Finally, she told the truth to Seo Ha also. Later she came to know that her car accident was not an accident but a murder where they want to kill Seo Han but she died in the accident.
Overall Thoughts on See You in My 19th Life Korean Drama
See You in My 19th Life is a story of a woman who reincarnates and remembers her past lives memories but doesn’t the reason behind remembering every detail of her past lives. The first half of the drama is good and interesting but the second half is completely opposite. Shin Hye Sun is one of the most versatile actresses even though her performance was good in the drama for the male lead Ahn Bo Hyun there is nothing much for him in this drama. As this drama is the adaption of a webtoon so the audience has a lot of expectations and the drama is not that much impactful.
