Highlights of Money Heist Korean Drama
Heist Team:
A former female North Korean soldier, who secretly listens to South Korean K-pop boy band “BTS”. The story begins in 2025 when North-South Korea’s border opens to the public. Now both countries people commute to work. She also went to South Korea but her life turned into a criminal. She killed loan sharks who forced North and South Koreans however now she is running away from Police. After 1 year when she was on the run from the police, a stranger introduced himself as a Professor and told her to help him in a four trillion won money heist. Professor makes a team of 9 people and gives them code names. The female soldier used the code name “Tokyo”, former North Korean prisoner “Berlin”, ex-convict “Moscow” and his son, underground fighter “Denver”, skilled hacker “Rio”, con artist “Nairobi” and brothers duo “Oslo” and “Helsinki” from a Yanbian gang. The group went to the Mint where they took employees and visitors hostage.
Negotiation Between Professor And Police:
The news spread all over the country that the mint had been taken over by thieves. So the higher-up decided to make a team where both countries’ experts join and solve this case. From South Woo Jin and from North Moo Hyuk. Woo Jin was unaware of Professor’s identity. Professor and his team decide not to hurt any hostages no matter what happen. Professor was aware of Woo Jin’s identity and her character. They were always two steps ahead of the police. Meanwhile inside the Mint director Cho Young Min also tries his best to contact the police however his plan always fails. When Berlin came to know that Mi Seon was trying to contact the Police so decide to punish her, he told Denver to shoot her.
Fight Between Members:
When Tokyo finds out that Denver shot Mi Seo in her leg so they both decide that they hide Mi Seon. After that Tokyo decide to remove Berlin from the leadership position because he went against the Professor’s plan. Not only that he also divides the hostage between the North and South. When everyone was arguing with each other Moscow heard their conversation and he was shocked when he found out that his son Denver killed a woman. Without listening to Denver’s side he carelessly opens Mint’s door, Denver manages to stop him and told him the whole truth. Now they need a plan to save the father-son duo so Berlin sends his team and a few hostages to escort Moscow and Denver. Once again Youn Min tries to threaten Tokyo and her team but Woo Jin gives the order to the sniper to shoot Young Min.
Change In Plan:
Young Min was shot in the chest and he was in critical condition so the professor and police decide to send the medical team inside the Mint. Moo Hyuk decides that he will also go inside the Mint with the medical staff and secretly they will send their agent with the same dress and mask as the heist team. However, Professor is aware of Moo Hyuk’s identity so he warned his team and Rio manages to plant a bug in Moo Hyuk’s phone. The Police plan again failed when the Heist team and hostages change their masks. He was furious when Berlin finds out that Denver hasn’t killed Mi Seon. Later Professor ordered his team to tie Berlin in a separate room as a punishment. But the Police still don’t know anything about the real intention of those thieves.
Overall Thoughts on Money Heist Korean Drama:
If you haven’t watched the original version of Money Heist, then you should try the Korean version. I just love this drama, actors did an amazing job but still, there are some people who did not like the drama at all. If you are someone who loves mystery-thriller then definitely you love this drama. I highly recommend Money Heist Korean drama. I don’t know how many of you will agree with me that sometimes Tokyo’s character annoys me. However, the most annoying character in the whole drama is of course Mint Director he really needs a punch on his face. If you are watching this drama keeping in mind the original version, then I suggest that you should not watch this version. Now let’s wait for PART-2 of Money Heist and let’s see what twists and turns will be there when the police find out the real intention of the thieves.
