The Dreadfull Past:
Lee Dong Sik and Lee Yoo Yeon are twin siblings. One day Dong Sik’s sister went missing and her finger was cut and thrown at their home. Even after 20 years, Dong Sik was searching for his sister and he has the worries buried deep. He was called a lunatic and demoted at work. Han Joo Won and Dong Sik became partners at work. Joo Won suspected that Dong Sik killed his sister and opened that case again. In mid of this, they find a corpse of a woman with a ring.
Joo won identified the ring and Song Sik told that this was a woman. Both started suspecting each other as Murderer. While examining the crime scene, they found a pink ribbon tied to the victim’s leg same as the murder before 20 years. In the past, Dong Sik is arrested for the murder of Bang Ju Yeon.
Drift Between:
Dong Sik finds out that Min Jung missing, whom he took care of his daughter. The murdered woman found in the field of reeds is Lee Geum-Hwa, an illegal immigrant who Joo-won used to track Dong Sik’s movements. But later Dong Sik was arrested for Min Jung’s missing. Then after the appeal by Min Jung’s father, Dong Sik has been released. Later, Jin Hoon was arrested as a suspect due to the edited CCTV video. But, actually, he has seen Minjung with Jung Je that night. Ji Hoon is released from jail after Jung Jae confesses that he was the last person Min-jung saw the night she disappeared.
The Criminal:
After many investigations it was found the Jin Mook, the father of Minjung has murdered Min Jung and Jung Jae, and she has died due to multiple organ failures. He cut her finger and later buried her alive. On investigation, he says that he is not her biological father. He didn’t kill all the murdered victims but he knows where they were buried. Later in jail, he suicides, leaving a note to Dong Sik that he didn’t kill Ye Yeon. Somebody has turned off CCTV potage when Jin mook committed suicide.
Mystery Behind The Truth:
Dong Sik started digging his basement and Ye Yeon’s dead body was found. After many side stories and investigations, in the past, Jung Je was arguing with Ye Yeon for disclosing their relationship to Dong Sik. While Jung Je was searching for Ye Yeon, she was already hit by a car by (Chief Superintendent) Han Gi-hwan’s car. Whereas at present, Dong Sik arrives and arrests Joo Won for Lee Geum Hwa’s death.
Superintendant Jung was the mastermind, who hides back the criminals. Joo Won releases to the media his recording of Lee Chang Jin and Chief Superintendent Han Gi Hwan’s conversation about Yu Yeon’s death. Finally, justice has won and all the criminals behind the serial murder were sentenced to jail.
